History
What started as a humble passion project, Hunter Haulage Australia quickly grew within weeks of launching bringing founder Sam Alexiou the chance to live out his life long dream of running his very own Transport company.
Sam has been in the container industry for over 13 years – beginning as a young truck driver at the ports in Botany, collecting and delivering containers. To then Allocator, Transport Manager, and later National Transport Manager for one of the largest ports in Australia.
It was only after many years of container transport experience, lots of networking, and a noticed gap in the market within rural NSW cartage, that Hunter Haulage Australia was born.
With a clear vision to connect the Australian Country to the Ports.

We are a NSW based transport business specialising in Intrastate and Interstate container deliveries with a strong focus on country towns in NSW such as Dubbo, Tamworth, Wagga Wagga and Taree. All drivers are accredited to enter all terminals in Sydney, Brisbane and Melbourne allowing us to run your containers direct to port, minimising any via yard additional charges.
Our vehicles are predominately 30m A-DOUBLE’s which will benefit your business with improved productivity helping reduce the delivery cost per container.
